A discussion of Pixar as an ideal example of the creative industry, capable of imposing a quality brand at the global level based on a solid and substantive imagination that is at once childish and very grown up. Referring to some of the more important masterpieces to have emerged from the California studios, we will be highlighting the distinguishing features of a "cultural system" that has provided us over the past few decades with a multifaceted interpretation of contempory society and of the "American way of life", caught between the past, the present and the future.
