DANIELA LANCIONI

The beginning of an artist's career is invariably a mysterious maelstrom of talent and circumstance. Beginning with an attempt to gain a perceptive insight into the young Tacchi's early experiments, the encounter will go on to analyse the original and riveting thread linking his work throughout the 1960s, from his enamels and his celebated "tapestries" to his impossible items of furniture and on to his radical action in the Artist's Cancellation.
