Withe One One One the audience is involved in an experience that is at once disturbing and decisive. The performers absorb the emotions of individual spectators in order to recreate them in choreographical form, establishing a very close relationship with the gaze and posture of the individuals observing them. The performance seeks a physical and mental connection with a non-theatrical environment, open to exploration and transgression of a relational nature, its simple stage props consisting of two lines on the floor and two seats for the spectator.
 
Ioannis Mandafounis moved to Frankfurt to join the Forsythe Company in 2005 after working with the Göteborg Ballet and the Nederlands Dans Theater, two of Europe's most important dance companies. He left the Frankfurt company in order to be able to continue producing his own projects and to teach and to train with other dancers around Europe. He has performed his own work in many theatres and festivals in Europe including: Montpellier Danse, the International Dance Festival in Athens, the Kunstenfestivaldesarts in Brussels, the Rencontres Choregraphiques de Seine-Saint-Denis, Paris, the Kalamata International Dance Festival, the Tanz Piattaforma in Essen, the Künstlerhaus Mousonturm and Bockenheimer Depot in Frankfurt), the Kunsthalle in Baden-Baden, the Schauspielehaus in Dresden and others.
