Rub Kandy tells about the work of Donato Piccolo.
 
Piccolo's art uses project designs and technological and mechanical installations to explore natural physical and biological phenomena, and the study of man's cognitive faculties to analyse the perceptive aspects of the natural world. Most of his works combine two complementary and inseparable aspects in that they are at once sculptures and machines, at once form and process. One of the most interesting artists of his generation, Donato Piccolo was born in Italy but works on an international stage.
