Paola Bonani
is a junior curator with the Azienda Speciale Palaexpo. She has a PhD in Contemporary Art History. From 2001 to 2003 she worked at the Centro Studi del Futurismo at the MART in Rovereto. She has provided study and research input for numerous exhibitions and publications on Italian 20th century art, including: Pirandello. Le Nature morte, 2007; Mario Ceroli, 2007; 15a Quadriennale di Roma, 2008; Italia Contemporanea. Officina San Lorenzo, 2009; Nuovi archivi del futurismo, 2010; Gino Severini, 2011; Anni ’70. Arte a Roma, 2013; Burri. Lo spazio della materia tra Europa e USA, 2016; Antonio Sanfilippo. Segno e immagine, 2016; and Mimmo Rotella. Manifesto, 2018. For the MART in 2010 she edited, with Marco Rinaldi and Alessandra Tiddia, the general catalogue of the work of Gastone Novelli, also recently editing the collection of his writings.

 

Francesca Rachele Oppedisano has been working for the Azienda Speciale Palaexpo sincel 2003, co-curating the exhibitions Benedette Foto! Carmelo Bene visto di Claudio Abate and Il Corpo della Voce. Carmelo Bene, Cathy Berberian, Demetrio Stratos for Palazzo delle Esposizioni. After gaining a degree in Contemporary Art History in Rome and PhD in Viterbo, she was awarded a master's degree in practical philosophy and philosophical practices by the Università degli Studi Roma Tre. She has curated exhibitions and published several studies on Carmelo Bene and Rudolf Steiner. She has taken part in the Osservatorio scientifico della memoria scritta, filmica, iconografica e del patrimonio autobiografico since 2009, holding conferences in the context of its annual international study seminars and publishing a number of transdisciplinary essays on art, the cinema, psychoanalysis and philosophy, focusing on, among others, Bene, Bacon Caravaggio, Goethe, J-L Godard, Mishima and Pasolini (Louvain, UCL, Presses universitaires de Louvain).

 

Laura Perrone gained an M2 in the social anthropology of development (Paris 1 - Sorbonne, 2008). In 2009 she concerned herself with research in Argentinian cultural studies (Buenos Aires, Centro’feca). For the Musagetes Foundation she coordinated the project Campagna Urbana (Lecce, 2012) and Free Home University (Lecce, 2013). In 2013 she was selected for CAMPO, a course for curators run by the Fondazione Sandretto Re Rebaudengo (Turin, 2014). In 2017 she was assistant curator of the exhibition Sensibile Comune – le opere vive, at Rome's Galleria Nazionale d’arte Moderna e Contemporanea. In 2018 she co-founded the studioconcreto project in Lecce. She is currently curator for the Azienda Speciale Palaexpo's planning table and for Palazzo delle Esposizioni she has co-curated the exhibitions Sublime Anatomies (Rome, 2019) and T Zero (Rome, 2021).
