27 March - 16 April 1999

This exhibition presented a collection of photographs by the French philosopher Jean Baudrillard, famous for his studies on mass communication and consumerism.
The works on display, produced during the previous two years, were "philosophical photographs", reflections on the ways that the subject (the one who photographs) and the object (the object of the photograph) relate to each other, in a paradigmatic connection with the way contemporary people perceive reality.

Exhibition curated by Giuliano Compagno.
Catalogue by Arte in Comune, Rome
