To tie in with its exhibition on The 'Seventies. Art in Rome, the Palazzo delle Esposizioni's Art Bookshop will be holding a workshop devoted to Claudio Cantelmi's book On Screens - Homage to Fabio Mauri 1926-2009.  This is a book but at the same time it is an objet d'art that leads us by the hand as we explore the work of Fabio Mauri and the world of the "artist's book".

A new edition of Spot!, a rendez-vous at cocktail hour offering a guide to the interpretation of a work of art, has been devised to run concurrently with the 'Seventies. Art in Rome exhibition at the Palazzo delle Esposizioni. It comprises a series of three encounters designed to explore the story of three exhibits in greater depth, and to find out more about the research and work that underpinned and went into what we see today.

The Palazzo delle Esposizioni's Educational Services - Art Workshop will be holding a training meeting for teachers, students, professionals and anyone with a specific interest in this sector, offering them a chance to review the stages involved in planning the workshop's pathway for schools designed to tie in with the 'Seventies. Art in Rome exhibition.

The Art Workshop offers guided tours of the exhibition and workshops for schools and families. In the exhibition we explore the vocabulary of a new form of art: space, both inside and outside the frame; time, to create and to observe; the body, with or without a setting. All of these vocabularies tell the story of years of tradition and experimentation in a determined effort to break through boundaries and to open up new horizons.

On the occasion of the exhibition I nostri Anni '70. Libri per Ragazzi in Italia, the Art Workshop is offering new itineraries for different sections of the public. During the week the invitation is aimed at kindergarten and primary schools, while at the weekend there will be something new each month for smaller children and families.

To tie in with the Etruscans and the Mediterranean exhibition, the Art Workshop is offering a tour in the exhibition of ancient Cerveteri, the wealthiest and most heavily populated of all the Etruscan metropolises, to delve into the secrets that led the city to vie with Rome and with the other Mediterranean powers. In the Workshop Cube names, objects and cities are all jumbled up on a huge map that greets participants and takes them on a journey through time and space to discover ancient Etruria.

After a meeting on the most eccentric and original typographical characters, and after having told us about the one hundred ideas that have changed graphic design, this year the American critic will talk about himself, with his usual irony, and explain what it means to be a Design Addict.

On the occasion of the exhibition I nostril anni '70. Libri per Ragazzi in Italia, new dates organised by the Art Workshop: meetings and workshops for teachers, students, sector operators and enthusiasts.
Meetings with players from the publishing world face to face, curated by Paola Vassalli, and workshops on techniques, materials and languages to tell the stories of publishing houses, authors and artists who have revolutionised the children's book.

The Palazzo delle Esposizioni and Education Services - Art Workshop has devised a special tour for schools in which the exhibition is transformed into a dynamic venue for exploring, discovering and living to tell the tale. But also overturning reality, rediscovering and inventing "nonsense", turning clichés on their head.

The Scaffale d’arte (Art Shelf) at the Palazzo delle Esposizioni, a library specialised in international art publications for kids, returns for the third year to Più libri più liberi (More books more freedom) – small and medium publishers Fair in the Spazio ragazzi (Kids Space) together with the Libraries of Rome.

On Saturday 20 December a forest will be invading the ground floor of the Palazzo delle Esposizioni. We look forward to seeing you in order to populate it with characters who, for a day, will step out of the Scaffale d’arte books and venture into the fairytale wood.

On the occasion of the exhibition National Geographic Italia. Food, the future of food, the Palazzo delle Esposizioni Art Workshop offers a dynamic tour of the exhibition in order to reflect on what food is, where it comes from and how we will eat in the future.

On the occasion of the exhibition NUMBERS Everything that counts from zero to infinity, the Art Workshop of Palazzo delle Esposizioni presents Spot!, a date at aperitif time for the guided interpretation of a work. A three step itinerary to discover numbers, scientific laws and mathematical formulas in the history of art.

In the exhibition we explore the world of numbers, using installations and multimedia activities to discover the mathematician lurking inside each one of us; while in the workshop we set out on an interactive journey in which you yourself become a number or a symbol, playing mathematical games and solving calculations in motion.

To tie in with the Numeri Tutto quell che conta da zero a infinito exhibition, the Scaffale d'arte is offering a selection of books by the hand to explore the labyrinth of numbers. With calculators and tables left firmly outside the door, we use games to learn to count and we create new image with the numbers.
