Ilaria Bernardi | Cesare Tacchi after 1968. From aphasia to a "newborn" language

22 february
admission free

ILARIA BERNARDI

The encounter will be exploring the most significant themes and works in Cesare Tacchi's artistic career in the years following the Artist's Cancellation, which he produced in May 1968. Moving from aphasic objects and performances to a return to painting and psychoanalytic practice, to teaching and the theatre and on to the formulation of a "newborn" language, Cesare Tacchi gradually forged a new dialogue with the tools of art, with his own body and, perhaps most importantly, with "the other" whom he had been seeking from the outset.
