curated by Fabrizio Rufo - Università La Sapienza di Roma, Dipartimento di Biologia Ambientale
It has become something of a tradition for Palazzo delle Esposizioni to accompany every scientific project it produces with a reflection on the transformations of our time, with dialogue and input from the people in the forefront of research. To close the gap we commonly perceive between the "natural" pace of human existence and the heady advance of current technological progress, we ask a selection of expert communicators in science, artificial intelligence, biotechnology, economics, bioethics and environmental policies to illustrate the broad prospects that they think await our species in the face of empowered capability, genetic modification, new survival strategies and dependence on non-human devices, offering us a unique opportunity to share what are extremely human thoughts, hopes and doubts.
