The presentation of the catalogue raisonné of Carlo Maria Mariani’s painting, edited by Emanuela Termine and published by Umberto Allemandi, provides us with an opportunity to conduct an overview of the artist’s work. Some of the more significant aspects of his career, particularly in the 1970s and ‘80s, will be reviewed by leading experts. One of the six episodes in the previous edition of “Exhibitions on Display” was dedicated to Carlo Maria Mariani.
