From 8.30 am to 4.30 pm Monday to Friday, the Palazzo delle Esposizioni's Art Workshop has dreamed up a fun, quality alternative for children to spend the first few weeks of their summer holidays after schools break up.

IBBY Italia and the Palazzo delle Esposizioni are proud to present the second bibliograpical exhibition in the inernational project entitled Silent books. Final destination Lampedusa, a project which first saw the light of day in 2013 with the aim of putting together a selection of the best silent books published throughout the world, for girls and boys on the island of Lampedusa.

One-day seminar on accessibility to art and reading

Accessibility is a sensitive and complex theme to which the Palazzo delle Esposizioni and 's Art Workshop will be devoting a day's debate with museums, associations and the world of research to reflect, in particular, on sensory pathways and on the tactile illustrated book as tools of mediation for providing access to art and to reading.

An event of interactive popular science

The KreyonDay is a unique event of popular science, fully focused on creativity and innovation processes. The event is the outcome of a collaboration between the Kreyon project and the Palazzo delle Esposizioni and Education Service - Art Workshop.

he Palazzo delle Esposizioni's and 's Art Workshop service is to hold a training course for teachers, students, professionals and anyone with an interest in its Art Bookshelf, a library specializing in international art publishing for children – a collection of books that uses words and pictures to tell the story of art and artists.

We hold practical and theoretical encounters to explore a working method based on active observer participation and on understanding the importance of layout, of the quality of a venue and of educational materials, all of which are elements specific to the Education Service – Art Workshop's activities.



guided interpretation

A new edition of SPOT!, offering a guide to the interpretation of a work of art, has been devised to run concurrently with the Truly a Dolce Vita? From Art Nouveau to Italian Design 1900-40 exhibition at the Palazzo delle Esposizioni. It consists in a series of three encounters designed to explore the story of three works of art and to learn all about the research and the work that went into the final result that we see today.
